Neonetix can provide x86 based servers as well as those using the SPARC
platform. Thanks to specializing in three servers, we always have hardware
ready to be swapped at the drop of a hat, in case of failure. You can
choose to have almost any operating system to be installed, including:
- Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server
- Sun Solaris 2.7, 2.8, or 2.9
- BSD, Linux, and other flavors of UNIX.
When you choose Dedicated Hosting, you get your own server(s) to run your
software on. The servers are owned by Neonetix, but you have full
administrative rights on them. Want to install custom software? No
problem. Want to grant administrative rights to your colleague? No
problem; it's your decision.
Neonetix also offers an almost unheard of monitoring service. Not only can
we can monitor most ICMP, TCP, and UDP services, but our monitoring systems can
alert you directly via email or alphanumeric paging when there is a
problem. Our built-in acknowledgement and escalation service ensures that
you or someone deemed responsible responds to your problem.
