Spam Filtering with Microsoft Outlook 2000 (Corporate or Workgroup) Support


Open Microsoft Outlook.  Click on Tools at the Top, and choose Rules Wizard.




A new window will appear, titled "Rules Wizard".  Click on 'New' (on the right).



Click on Next.




Use the scrollbar on the right side of the window to scroll down until you find "with specific words in the message header".  Click the box to the left to check it.   Then click on "specific words" in the lower area.



Enter 'X-NNTX-Spam-Flag: YES' in the new window that pops up.  Click OK.

Click on Next.




Click on the box to the left of "move it to the specified folder".  Click on "specified" in the lower area.




Click on New.




Type *SPAM in the "Name" area.  Click OK.




Click on OK.




Click on Finish.




Click on OK.




Click on the + sign to the left of your Inbox to show your *SPAM folder.




New mail that arrives tagged as "SPAM" will automatically be put into your *SPAM folder.  If you do not wish to see your *SPAM folder, simply click on the - sign next to your Inbox.
