Vandyke AbsoluteFTP 2.0.x SupportOpen Absolute FTP, and click on File (at the top). Click on "Connect" on the new menu that pops up.  A new window will appear, titled "Connect". Click on "New Session" button, 2nd from the left at the top.  A new window will be shown, titled "New Session Wizard". Enter your web site name in the "Host address" field. Ensure the port field says 21. Click Next.  In the next window, uncheck the "Anonymous Login" box, and enter your username and password. Click Next.  Make sure the Initial directory field is blank. Click Next.  Make sure www.yourdomain.com is in the "Session name" field. Click Finish.  You will be brought back to the window titled "Connect". Right click on www.yourdomain.com, and go to properties on the new menu that pops up.  Click on FTP (underneath Options, on the left side). Uncheck the "Use outgoing data connections (PASV)" box. Click OK.  You'll be brought back to the "Connect" window again. Click on www.yourdomain.com, and click the Connect button in the lower right corner.  You're in!!. Put files you want accessible to the World Wide Web in the "www" folder. Put your data files inside the "data" folder. You can also download your logs, located in the "logs" folder.  |
