Ipswitch WS_FTP LE 5.0.8 Support
Open WS_FTP. A window will pop up titled "Session Properties". If it doesn't, go to File, and click connect.
On the right side, click on the "New" button.
All the values will clear out. Enter www.yourdomain.com
in the Profile Name field, as well as the Host Name/Address field.
Make sure "Automatic detect" is selected for Host Type.
Enter your username in the User ID field. Click on the Advanced Tab at
the top.
Ensure the Remote Port field is set to 21, and Uncheck the "Passive
transfers" checkbox. Click on OK.
WS_FTP will now ask for your password. Enter your Password in the
space provided, and click on OK.
You're in!!. Put files you want accessible to the World Wide Web in the "www" folder. Put your
data files inside the "data" folder. You can also download your logs, located in the "logs" folder.
