Ipswitch WS_FTP Pro 7.6 SupportOpen WS_FTP. A window will pop up titled "WS_FTP Pro: Connect to Remote Host". If it doesn't, go to File, and click connect. On the right side, click on the "Create Site" button. A new window will appear, titled "WS_FTP Pro Site Profile Wizard". Enter www.yourdomain.com in the Name field, and click the Next button. The next window asks for your Host Name or IP Address. Enter www.yourdomain.com. Click on the Next button. Enter your username in the User Id field, and click the Next button. Make sure the Server Type is FTP, the "Use SSL" checkbox is Unchecked, and the Port is 21. Click on the Next button. Make sure "Host Type" is Automatic detect, and Uncheck the Passive Mode checkbox. Click on Finish. You will be brought back to the window titled "WS_FTP Pro: Connect to Remote Host". Click on the Site you just created, and click on the Connect button on the right side. WS_FTP now wants your password. Enter your password in the password field, and click on the Connect button in the lower left. You're in!!. Put files you want accessible to the World Wide Web in the "www" folder. Put your data files inside the "data" folder. You can also download your logs, located in the "logs" folder. |
